118 South Main Street, Middlebury Vacant
and neglected for more than a decade, this former residence on the
Middlebury College campus was restored and fully renovated during the
spring and summer of 2011. Decay and time had taken a toll, and
replacement of half of the foundation and significant sections of the
structural framing were required. New siding, roofing, mechanical and
electrical systems, up to date insulation and new interior finishes
brought the building back to life as a center for retired professors.
